Steve J. Silver, CFP®, CDFA, CLU

Steve is the Vice President and co-founder of Wealth Strategies Group, Inc. in Cordova, Tennessee, and an Investment Advisor Associate with Wealth Strategies Advisory Group, Inc. Steve has more than 25 years experience in the financial field.

After receiving his degree from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Steve served as the Gross Receipts Tax Auditor for Memphis and Shelby County. In 1987, he moved into the financial services arena with positions at The Equitable Financial Company, Principal Financial Services and First Tennessee Bank. In 1999, he was awarded the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

With a shared vision of personalized, comprehensive financial service to a selective clientele, Steve and his Partner, Charlie Auerbach, co-founded Wealth Strategies Group, Inc. and Wealth Strategies Advisory Group, Inc. in 2001.

Steve has specialized education and experience in the area of divorce and its effect on financial issues. He is one of only a handful of professionals locally that hold the designation of CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst).

Steve is President of the Financial Planning Association of the MidSouth and is an associate member of the Memphis Bar Association, Family Law section. He also currently serves on the Professional Advisory Board of the Memphis Jewish Foundation and on the National Panel of Arbitrators of the Better Business Bureau. Steve presently serves as President of the Board of Alzheimer's Day Services of Memphis.

Steve and his wife, Tracy, have been married for 23 years and have three children: Nathan, 20, Adam, 16, and India, 10.
