The Institute for Certified Divorce Financial Analysts

The ICDFA was founded in 1993 and was developed specifically to fill a need for financial expertise in the divorce arena. Institute instructors include both attorneys and Certified Financial Planners who are experts in the field of divorce. All are experienced instructors who have helped many clients achieve financially equitable divorces.

To receive the designation of Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), a practitioner must have demonstrated financial expertise and experience, have graduated successfully from the ICDFA, and fulfill specialized continuing education credits annually. IDFATM has been accepted by the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) Board, The American College of Financial Planning , and The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
